Vigilant Security is a local Townsville security company born of a passion to keep the community safe and to help others. It is a family owned company founded by Tim and Kristy Lindley in 2021. Since opening our doors, we’ve been committed to providing service of the highest quality, paying particular attention to working efficiently while keeping the lines of communication with our clients clear and concise.

Tim Lindley
Managing Director
Tim is no stranger to defending others and commenced his career in the Australia Army in 1997. After 12 years of service Tim went on to become a successful business development manager before purchasing his own business in 2016.
Tim’s experience in the security industry allowed him to see a need to create a better standard of security. It was from this drive that in 2021 Vigilant Security was born. From his combined focus for success and an innate protective instinct, Vigilant Security stepped into the local security industry.
Tim holds multiple security licences but his favourite is dog patrol security officer.
In his spare time Tim likes to relax with his family (including the furry ones) or shoot a few rounds at the local gun range.
Kristy Lindley
Operations Manager
Kristy is a skilled administrator with over two decades of experience in both the public and private sectors. Having worked as an executive assistant employed by billion dollar entities, Kristy is extremely experienced in running high energy businesses and is a superior organiser.
With her tenacious attitude for integral processes, Kristy has been an asset to Vigilant Security’s success.
Kristy oversees the welfare of all our staff, including the four legged staff, ensuring that they are well looked after and equipped for their roles.
Kristy is a Townsville local with a passion for the community. In her spare time Kristy loves to hang out with her family, including the fur children, in the great outdoors.
